Dear Evert , Thank you for posting to DHL . Please accept our sincerest apologies regarding the manner in which this matter has been handled . I assure you that this is being handled as a priority with the relevant department . As it currently stands , your shipment has been detained by CBCU Customs . ( Customs Boarder Control Unit ). This team is mandated to detain any shipment they deem fit for additional auditing , irrespective if shipment is cleared Customs or not . The process can be quite tedious , as it A ) depends on Customs Stop Volumes , B ) Works on a first come , First serve basis .  In as much as we endeavour for positive Customer experience’s , we do not control the Customs clearance process.
