Parcels stuck in limbo hell

I ordered stuff online from a US company (Teecosi) on the 7th of January 2021, the parcel was split in 2 and 1 parcel was received by DHL and captured Jan 12, 2021, the second parcel was received and captured by DHL Jan 20, 2021, the first parcel arrived in South Africa Feb 25, 2021 and the second one arrived in South Africa Feb 15, 2021. All status updates stops there, and no one can or want to check why the parcels is stuck in South Africa for over a month now. I get told wait a few days/I need to account for the snow in Texas/ weather conditions etc. We've not had any weird weather events in South Africa, and the parcels were long out of the US before the Texan snow storms.

From the start I did understand that the parcel would take some time, but it makes no sense to me that it can be in South Africa "ARRIVAL IN COUNTRY [DESTINATION COUNTRY - TRACKING UPDATES MAY END HERE, WILL BE DELIVERED SHORTLY]" and shortly is over a month. These are birthday gifts for family members and one of the birthdays has passed already.

All I've asked for is tell me what is happening how much longer do I need to wait?
