Parcel stuck at Customs for over 2 months

I have a parcel that come in from China on the 11th January. Parcel was cleared on the 19th Jan. Then somehow it went back for clearance and was stopped by Border Control. I have been emailing and phoning about 3 -4 times a week to find out about my parcel and when it will be released to no avail. I have now appointed a Clearing Agent and this is what they found out \This shipment has been stopped by CBCU (Customs Border Police) to check for under-declaration of the value. What compounded the delay with this shipment is that SARS issued a penalty of R2500 for late clearance, which DHL have paid on behalf of the client.<br> Due to the time that has lapsed from the date of arrival, this shipment has now moved to the States warehouse, see update below. I spoke with Frank he confirmed that the penalty and proof thereof was sent yesterday to CBCU can he is now awaiting the release from them.<br> There are going to be State warehouse rent payable on this shipment as well, this would need to be paid prior to the shipment being collected.<br> <br> Why was there a delay in clearing the parcel and I wasn't notified? I need this parcel within 2 weeks from now!!"
