Parcel still not delivered after over 3 weeks
My parcel arrived in SA 15th November 2015. I was asked to pay duties on it, which i did as soon as i received the invoice and emailed proof. Then i was told that my parcel was undervalued and some items not included in which i paid another exorbitant amount.Ever since it says clearance event. My question is a parcel which supposed to take 3 days to reach me has taken over 3 weeks??Aparantly border control unit has stopped the parcel and documents were submitted to border control unit (but they really wernt actually sent). Pathetic service! I sit on the phone with dhl and i get put through from one department to the next. No one actually knows what is going on. All i want is my parcel

10 Dec 2015, 12:19Hello Cons1305,
We apologize for the inconvenience and frustration this has caused you.
Due to the festive period, Customs has advised that there is a higher risk of contraband and false declarations being made. As a result Customs has been mandated to increase physically inspection to minimize the risk to the country. We are currently experiencing high volumes of delays with no confirmation from Customs as to when these items will be released. Please refer to the above email for further updates.
