Paid for a door to door service now they tell me i have to collect

I am getting the worst service from DHL.

So DHL passed on my order to RAM. Now RAM tells me that they will not deliver my package and I have to collect it because I stay in "a high risk area". What the hell?! My money was not "high risk" when I paid for their services. How am I supposed to collect an order in Cape Town when I have to be at work in Somerset from 7 til 5. If DHL/RAM do not deliver to "high risk" areas like Khayelitsha, then they should not accept our money and just reject us as customers totally. The most annoying part is that they did not even let me know until I called them MYSELF (after seeing that they are not delivering after waiting and waiting). This was my day off and I rushed home after doing what I had to do to come and wait for this order, when I was apparently supposed to be collecting it!

I am so sad and disappointed by their service and just feel like people from the ghettos are just not important to these people.

Township people are obviously not important to them enough to even give a call to notify them that they will not be fulfilling their end of the deal.

WHY DID THEY ACCEPT MY ORDER IF THEY WERE NOT GOING TO DELIVER IT? WHY DIDN'T THEY LET ME KNOW SO THAT I MAKE A PLAN?

SIES!!!!!
