OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE

I deal with DHL agents all over the continent and like any business there are always snags but credit goes out to this gentleman, I was having some issues with a parcel sent from our Gabon office and have been calling in for a few days trying to get this sorted. This morning after a few calls, I finally got hold of a gentleman called Trishan Pillay (***), from the outset he listened carefully to the urgency and also the type of query I have, he then only responded in the most polite way saying “Don’t worry Sir this will be sorted out today ’’I must admit I had my reservations about it being resolved today, but I was still optimistic as his response to me was diligent and comforting at the sometime, he took down my email address and telephone number and kept me in the loop every step of the way with responses that made me comfortable that somebody competent and one who takes pride in their work is dealing with my query. The gentleman even went as far as calling me during his break from his personal phone giving me updates telling me it is almost sorted and I should not stress (I think he could sense the urgency in my voice in the initial call), and just as the gentleman had assured me the issue was resolved within hours of our initial call, I was overwhelmed with the outcome and in my 20 years with dealing with DHL all over Africa this was by far the best experience I have ever had hence I felt the need to give credit where it is due. KUDUS to this young gentleman and a huge thank you to him for making this such a surprisingly pleasant experience.. you have a real gem there and I think with his positive attitude the SKY IS THE LIMIT.
