One lost, one trapped, and not a word from DHL
This is the second parcel I've had sent to me via DHL in the last three months. The first was mistakenly sent to the Cape Verde Islands, as opposed to Cape Town, and eventually took ~two months to be retrieved. When it arrived the contents had clearly been tampered with, and damaged, which I put down to customs interference. As I was not the sender, I did not get involved in the dispute, which was eventually resolved by refunding the cost of the shipping, and offering another shipment to the same value. I received no communication at any time from DHL as to the progress of the delivery, the errors that had been made, or apologies for the mess up. <br> On Tuesday my tracking for parcel two changed to Delivery Estimate unavailable, and has not since changed. I called on Weds to query it, and was told it had been held at customs. DHL's \Plan"for resolving this was to wait for me to call. I was told that the customs department would contact me that day to resolve the issue. It's now Friday"
