Never use DHL, Try UPS for delivery
DHL was to have delivered a package from Turkey. They asked me to provide them with an invoice otherwise customs will not release the package. Previously, UPS delivered items to me without a problem. Upon enquiry, they were lackadaisical and made no effort to resolve the problem. Go with UPS.

Thank you for taking the time to post to us.
Please be advised that a commercial invoice is required for customs clearance as prescribed by law, in order to make due entry when importing goods. Please take note of the 2 points below:
a) Section 39(1)(c) requires the importer to produce documents including an invoice.
b) In terms of Section 40 a Customs declaration (among other requirements) will not be valid if a correct and sufficient invoice, as prescribed, is not available on request.
