Lost Items and Damaged Property
Package was ordered from Namibia, it was packed properly with a lot of very fragile stickers all over the package. When it arrived the courier told the receptionist to sign when she said the owner is at the back he will sign he said \NO\" she can just sign and take it. The box was damaged and appeared to be dropped, after opening the box it was discovered that everything was broken inside. DHL was phoned and reported to, where we were told we don't have any prove.<br> On a second occasion that we used DHL a package was dropped at their offices in Gaborone destination Johannesburg. After two weeks and numerous phone calls to find out what happened because the package has not yet been delivered. After four weeks we got hold of a managers name in JHB which we phoned, he confirmed that he knows of the incident and he is investigating and will get back to us as soon as possible. After another two weeks and numerous phone calls we still haven't had any feed back from them. The package was missing and it cost me R28000.00 to replace and a month worth of income from my customer. When we spoke to the manager he just said we don't have insurance and its not his problem!! "
I would like to apologise for the manner in which the matter has been handled and also the inconvenience that has been caused to you.
Kindly provide me with the DHL airway bill number for the shipment so I can investigate and be able to provide you with feedback?
Regards
Charmaine
