Important docs delivered to a complete stranger

Extrememly upset with the shocking service that i've had to deal with from DHL. I had app**** for my British Passport and have had issues with DHL'S delivery.

1. The first issue was that they couldnt deliver it to my house when i was at work (somebody was at home to sign for me) however they werent allowed to sign for it on my behalf as i was not at home. No phone call to confirm anything. 2. The 2nd attempt of delivery failed as "nobody was at home". The driver was just lazy and didnt even bother to show as there was someone at home but there was no phone call from the estate sercurity to let them in. I had to then phone in and sort it out myself. 3. I have moved out of my house so I changed my address to the place that I am currently staying at and I phoned at least 3 people to confirm the new address only for them to deliver my important documents to a complete stranger. NO PHONE CALL TO CONFIRM IT WAS DELIVERED. I had to find out by calling them myself to find out that it was accepted by a complete stranger when yet the 1st issue was that they werent able to deliver to me because I was not home to sign it for myself.

I am still in disbelief that it was delivered to a complete stanger !!! Luckily the person contacted me and I managed to get my Passport.

And then i get an email to say "Sorry for the inconvienience , we dont ususally work like that"

wow....
