If I was to say this service has been pathetic, I would be being very polite!

The only reason this gets ONE star is because they don't offer anything lower. My vehicle broke down en route to Harare in Zimbabwe and we were transported to Harare by the AA of Zimbabwe who were very efficient. The vehicle needed a fan belt and a jockey pulley as the one on the vehicle seemed to have disintegrated. We managed to arrange the spare parts from Johannesburg and our garage contacted DHL for an overnight delivery. Well that is a misrepresentation of the service offered. We were sitting in Harare having to use taxis as transport and assumed that we would get the spares. When it was obvious that this was not going to happen, we arranged alternate transport to Bulawayo to finish the trip and my fellow travelers travelled back to Johannesburg on Sunday by air. I travelled back to Harare to collect the vehicle. It is now Tuesday the parts arrived last Friday. Duties were paid on Monday, but the parts have not been delivered. So in terms of a promised service DHL have failed spectacularly. I saw on the site that the confidence ranking of DHL is very low and I can understand why given the level of service.
