Hoodwinked by DHL

Most disappointed with DHL, a friend posted a package from Zambia paid a handsome amount only to be told by DHL (SA) that in order for me to receive the amount I have to pay an additional amount, almost R2k for a delivery. The most unhelpful lot of people at the customer care, offered no help told me I can take it up with SARS, no assistance even when I queried about returning the package if possible was told if you don't pay, customs cant shed my items or discard. WOW such amazing customer service & assurance the at DHL is a reliable courier company, anyone needing your items shredded or discarded due to costs not being disclosed call DHL ask for Nkosi at the customer care.
