Full of promises but no delivery

DHL tried to deliver a package from Amazon on 26/08, but without calling to advise they were at my address, they left and advised nobody was home (there was). I changed the delivery address that same day to my work address, and despite an email confirming the delivery would take place on the 27th, I have still not received my package a week later. Dont bother calling DHL Express contact centre - they will PROMISE you results but your package remains elusive. The problem is I didn't appoint them so I'm at there mercy.
