False pretenses

I received and paid for a quote provided by DHL to have an important document collected in Kimberley Northern Cape to Shanghai China. The quote DHL provided stated the document would be collected on Monday 8 January 2024 in Kimberley and delivered 12 January 2024 in Shanghai. I also selected the update notification to be sent via email. 8 January 2024 a friend informed me that the document had been collected. DHL however neglected to send an email notification. I went onto the DHL website to track the document using the tracking number provided when I paid. The tracking number did not exist according to the DHL website. I then contacted DHL via email and found out that they didn't have the document. A third party which they appointed (RAM) collected it and still has to deliver it to their (DHL) service centre in Kimberley. By Thursday 11 January 2024 I was informed by DHL that the document had still not reached DHL's service centre in Kimberley. (It is a small town and it would've taken them no more than 10 minutes to collect the document.) On 12 January 2024 the document wasn't delivered in Shanghai. DHL sold their services under false pretenses. At this stage they still don't have a way bill number for the document. If I had known that this is how they operate I would not have made use of them.
