******ionate prices

We are a guest house as well as an architectural firm. A couple of weeks back a guest house guest left her pillow behind she asked us to please courier it. We phoned the Polokwane office and asked how much it would be so we could have the guest OK the amount. We were informed R300 we phoned the guest, and she approved the amount and we had the pillow collected. Our account has arrived and the pillow now went from Magoebaskloof to JHB for R900!! We in the same timeframe have a box collected from JHB with cake forks, forks, knives for one of our interior decorating clients - box was probably not much larger than an A4 photostat box - for this we get charged R2200!! Upon querying we get informed they have a volumetric formulae that they work on - the pillow was invoiced according to volumetric formulae but the knives and forks on actual weight, so how does that fathom?- Charlene DHL informs us \no they (DHL) klap the client on the most expensive one"- lovely - well I will be closing my DHL account that is for sure!! My driver could have got into his bakkie and fetched this parcel twice for the amount we are being charged. Could have bought many new pillows for the R900 as well"""
