Disappointed in DHL
I am completely disappointed with DHL. A month ago i send a birthday present with DHL to my mom in Germany. In the parcel was a box off chocolates and a New Zealand rugby jersey that cost me R1099.99 from sportsmans warehouse. They opened the parcel stole the jersey and throw all the chocolates out in the box. Its been a month now that i have been waiting for them to give me a answer on how we going to sort out the issue that the jersey was taken out the box. Every week i just get a useless mail saying still waiting for Feedback. I think this is unacceptable. I use DHL all the time to send parcels to Germany and New Zealand but due to this service i just receive and the fact that my mom birthday was ruined i wont use DHL again and neither will my friends and family. I can not believe that DHL has not as yet giving me a proper answer in how they going to fix this issue. I am truly disappointed!!!!!!

I assure you that this matter has not been taken lightly and is currently receiving the full attention it rightfully deserves. I've looked into your case, and can see that our Security team have almost concluded the investigation regarding this matter.
Once CCTV footage has been finalised, as currently all warehouse searches have turned up negative , depending on outcome of case (if shipment is located or not), will then determine how we shall proceed with claim .
I have escalated the matter internally to our Security team and have requested matter finalised as a matter of urgency. I'll revert with feedback once received.
Rest assured, we're on it , and will follow up on this until the matter has been fully resolved.
