DHL's massive surprise charges

They have attempted to slap an additional R4000 processing fee, completely aside from the normal customs charges. No warning was made of this when sending the package so they are holding it hostage until their surprise 'troll tax' is paid. Which I refuse to do. Avoid like the plague. I have not had this problem with UPS or Fedex.

Reviewer Update
There was no resolution. The package ended up being destroyed and the costs absorbed by the sender. DHL is flat out the absolute worst courier available in SA. I have ceased doing business with them. Avoid them like the plague.
