DHL, the new post office of SA?

No use to tell you that DHL is pathetic, as you all know that already. No use in telling you that DHL doesn't deliver, as you all know that already as well. The reason for this post is to inform the rest of the world to AVOID DHL at ALL COST.

Parcel sent from Germany on 18 March 2021 and arrived at OR Tambo on 21 March 2021 (received alert on 22 March 2021). Duties paid on 23 March 2021. On 29 March 2021 received a penalty for goods declared incorrectly (R1 500 for SARS and R1 00 for DHL handling the penalty + R610 for correct tariff codes). Paid on 29 March 2021 and 01 April 2021. Agent handling the shipment acknowledged the payments.

Send a complaint from DHL website to "Jed Michaletos and his team", the country manager of DHL (what a joke). Received a reply on 13 April 2021.

It is now 15 April 2021 and all that happens is a new penalty of R5 000 as the shipment now needs to move to the goverment warehouse with a R5 000 penalty and R10 per day storage fee as it was not cleared in time. Still did not receive my shipment.
