DHL REQUESTING FOR MORE MONEY AFTER I PAID FOR DELIVERY
I purchased a saree from India, to be delivered to Durban South Africa. Never had a problem with any other courier companies, my goods have always been delivered on time. My saree arrived in South Africa, at the end of January, everytime i called DHL to find out why my parcel was delayed, they said because of customs. Today i receive a message from DHL to say that i must pay R700. But the cost of the saree is R800.00, plus i paid delivery charges from India to durban.

10 Feb 2023, 07:55So after receiving the above email. I was told that DHL will contact Ninecolours that i purchased my saree from and tell me what their client has advised them, they might get told to destroy the garment, but nobody is telling me if i will get a refund if they destroy my garment.

13 Feb 2023, 14:43So sad, that i had to eventually pay R793.70, for customs and duties, after payment i received my parcel, the same day. I wonder if companies are now hijacking our parcels to make us pay more money.
