DHL poor service

DHL collected a parcel on the 20th of October from Johannesburg for destination USA. Today, 38 days and loads of correspondence later, the parcel is still at a depot in Cincinnati, 'waiting for additional details for clearance'. The shipping time was critically important as a refund was dependent on the goods being returned within 30 days of purchase, and DHL was made aware of this from the start The one-star rating above is one too many. By their own admission, DHL have mis-handled this shipment from the start, but in the three weeks since this admission, the action has been in slow motion. From the Export Manager Nasheef Kamaldien ***, to Happy Mabasa, Export Supervisor, Tebogo Ntlebi, Customer Affairs Supervisor ***, who have all been copied in all correspondence, there is no communication from DHL for updates, despite unanswered phone calls. This service is an absolute disgrace. Please be on guard when using this courier company for anything out of the ordinary.
