DHL Pathetic Service and No One wants to take responsibility

I wrote in my review about the atrocious service I’ve received from DHL. A gentleman called Akhona contacted me asked for an invoice which I had already given to DHL in Canada. When I asked Akhona how long this will still take before my family get their parcel he can’t give me an answer? He said it’s up to customs. I told him you are the person who contacted me so he should have asked customs how long it’s going to take before replying to me. It’s like he just doesn’t care? I also asked him to make sure my parcel is still insured becuase I insured it when I booked on Canada’s side. He hasn’t rep**** to that either. I also told him to make sure I get every single item in my parcel delivered or I will be taking this further. They are pathetic never ever deliver on time. Why do they give you a date of delivery when they know they will never have it delivered on that day? Don’t use DHL ever they are the worst courier company!!

Thank you for your reply. You should not have a delivery date on your website if you can’t deliver by that date. No where does it say excludes custom clearance. All it does is give you a date it will be delivered. Why do O always have problems every time I use DHL? I specifically chose DHL because the Germans are known for fast efficient service. Well what a disappointment for the Germans. The service from Canada and South Africa has been inefficient. Why wasn’t I asked to provide a detailed invoice from the start? Now everything is delayed again!! Not acceptable I’m sorry. I want my parcel delivered today . It’s nearly 2 weeks since I shipped it Wednesday (2 days time) will be 2 weeks !!

I was told yesterday by Akhona from DHL that he would let me know no later than 12:30pm today where my package is. It’s currently 15:05pm and he’s ignoring me! I sent an email asking what’s happening he hasn’t responded. How can Dhl be so inefficient? They give you a date of delivery it’s 6 days later my package has still not been delivered and then I get told I’ll let you know no later than 12.30pm tomorrow and then you don’t even bother to get back to me and when I email you to find out you ignore my email!! Don’t send anything with DHL they are useless and pathetic. They are not reliable and don’t keep their word. I will write on hellopeter everyday and let everyone know how pathetic they are and everyone can see how long it’s taking them to deliver my package. Stay tuned!
