DHL negligence and ******* sign off of packages

I can’t even give them a one star cause they deserve zero stars!!

I had ordered a package with ASOS UK and paid for and expensive express delivery as I needed the package to get here before the end of October. Only for it to arrive in South Africa and customs from DHL tells me I need to pay R730.25 of which is basically the price of the the item I ordered. So I paid DOUBLE for my item and for an expensive delivery to have it sent to my work address.

I called DHL to find out if it would still arrive as stated cause I was going to let them know that my colleague would be signing on behalf of me. So they said the driver would call when they are close. Only for the driver to deliver it one hour after the stipulated delivery time, without calling me to say they have arrived and ALLOWED someone (not my colleague) to sign with my NAME! That’s ***** and *******! Til now no one knows where that package is and who signed for it! I had to call around to find out and no one can tell me anything! I don’t think this is what a customer should have to deal with.

I want my package and my money back I didn’t pay an arm and leg for such poor standard service from DHL! The driver should get fired for not knowing his job and allowing negligence!!!!!!
