DHL Madness
<p>Buying things from different countries and expecting it to be delivered to your door shouldnt be a big deal if you choose DHL ( a huge courier company), Right??</p> <p>WRONG!!!</p> <p> </p> <p>I ordered a parcel. It arrived in RSA on the 30th of August. I emailed DHL regarding the import duties and they said that they will let me know when I have to pay. After a month i phoned DHL to ask about my parcel, paid the duties and they said that my parcel will be delivered the next day. The next day is now 12 days later?! When i phoned about the parcel about seven times each time the excuse was that my ID number was wrong in he system. This morning I phoned again and they said all is good they will deliver tomorrow. Testing DHL I phoned this afternoon just to have the lady tell me that my tracking number doesnt exist??? After a while on the phone she found my parcel tracking number and again its promised to be delivered tommorow. </p> <p> </p> <p>DHL is the worst courier company ever!! wont recommend them to any one</p>

I can assure you that this matter has in no way been taken lightly and will be receiving the full attention it rightfully deserves. Your case has been escalated to our Customs affairs manager for a thorough investigation in the matter and to urgently intervene to ensure the earliest release so we can proceed with delivery . In as much as we endeavor for positive customer experiences we do not control the customs clearance process. The transit times quoted on our shipments is dependent on customs clearance and the customs authorities in the country.
