DHL is too big for new business? Get rid of the answering service and start talk to people

One would think that in the difficult times post C19, business would take more care with customers, especially creating new accounts. It seems though that the international business is feeding the local south African giant who has lost its appetite for new customers. I logged calls on the DHL web site (as per their process), have spoken to their call centre (another frustrating process of call forwarding, cutting off, holding on, and getting nowhere), and even have a reference number (***9), The one promise to follow another. Impossible to speak with someone to open an account! Why don't I pick a competitor? I unfortunately have an international customer who prefers DHL. Is it possible that DHL elsewhere could be better, but the SA office may be lacking in more than one regard?

Dear DHL, Making contact with me may solve my case (if you do follow-through this time), but may not solve your appreciation of business and solve many other unhappy customers. You need to take an internal review of your business process and re-inspire your customer facing teams. See your average rating on this site for reference
