DHL IS DISHONEST

I recently sent a parcel to India. Unfortunately, I used my friend's name, which they call his Aadhar name which doesn't include his full names. As the shipper, I spoke to Postnet, Constantia where I sent the parcel. DHL South Africa and DHL India were unwilling to help me. I was told DHL only delivers to offices and residential, why did Postnet not inform me? I told them the houseboat in Srinagar Kashmiri where I stayed in 2023 was used as an office too. I was willing to go to DHL here in Cape Town and offer them my ID. I was told if they didn't receive the requirements from the recipient the parcel would be opened and probably distributed amongst the employees. It was worth Rupees 21000.00. I think that equates to a form of theft. I made a mistake in the way I detailed the address. Even though I paid R1800.00 for the postage, neither DHL South Africa nor DHL India were prepared to help me. Beware of using DHL ....... once something leaves South Africa you have NO guarantee that DHL will deliver your parcel. Millicent
