DHL is disgrace and full of ******.

I had a parcel that had been shipped from UK using DHL. I made the order on th 23rd of June with this company in UK, in less than 3 days my parcel was in South Africa. On the 3rd day DHL contacts me for tax and customs payment which I paid on the same day (25th of June 2021).

I received communication from DHL that the parcel will be delivered on the 30th of June which never happened. When I tracked the shipment online it said the parcel had been delivered on th 30th of June at 10:52 am which was a lie because I never got it.

On the 3rd of July I called DHL Customer Service which in JHB and I was told that the parcel is was with Rams (now who's Rams?) they said it is a delivery company in my area so they picked up the parcel from DHL premises and it will be delivered on Monday (5th of July 2021), the agent I spoke to said that once the parcel is with Rams the client cannot track it online (that raised an eyebrow).

Monday the 5th of July I waited and no Rams came. On Wednesday the 7th of July I called DHL again and I was told Rams is going to delivery and they didn't.

On Thursday morning, the 8th of July I called because I still hadn't received my parcel. I spoke to an agent who told me that Rams bought back the parcel because they couldn't not locate my address. He asked if I had means to pick up the parcel myself and I said yes if he could give the physical address of DHL Durban branch, then he asked me to give him a few seconds so he can call Durban branch. He came back on the line and now he changed the story, he said that the parcel was now with the DHL driver and he's going to deliver straight to my address and that meant that no Rams was involved now. I went online again to track the shipment and it said that it was out for delivery, and that was promising.

I waited for DHL driver until 15:30 and I tracked the parcel on line again and it now said it had been delivered something around 14:28 pm, I was surprised because no DHL driver came to my place. I called DHL again, the agent said that the package had been picked up by Rams and they'll deliver it (?? what Rams now? Again? ) and the agent asked me to wait while she read some notes made by the agent I spoke to earlier on, unfortunately she could not understand the notes and asked me to wait on the line while she went to find the agent I spoke to earlier on. After good 11 minutes she comes back and says she was sorry but she does not have good news for me, she further said that the driver was hijacked at gun point and my parcel was lost in that incident.

I've never been so confused in my life because I didn't understand how my parcel got to Rams because when I ended the call with the first agent my parcel was with DHL driver and now I'm told it was lost when the Rams truck was hijacked.

DHL is full of ****** who lie and can't even keep up with the lies what a disgrace.
