DHL - INCOMPETENCE OF SOUTH AFRICAN COUNTER PART - WITHDRAW DHL! - WAKE UP AND SMELL THE ROSES! SA HAS NO FUTURE!

As an expat in the current circumstances, travelling is a luxury. Unfortunately, I work in Azerbaijan which is an amazing and very efficient country. I had to take time off work to fly to SA and renew my passport, as the country was in lockdown and the Department of Home Affairs under quarintine during my visit in July. A visit during which my parents (yes, both) contracted Covid during care in the Netcare Pinehaven Hospital and infected me. I barely survived during which my mother died in my arms. So, even though I tried to make arrangements through the DHL website this week, being met with all kinds of obstacles, which the SA DHL could not resolve, my employer managed to get things done from 13000 km away. DHL was supposed to collect my new passport was supposed to collect my new passport from my father this afternoon. All was arranged AND PAID. Unfortunately DHL could not find their own courier. I guess 15h00 in SA means knock off time. DHL phoned my father in frail care to apologise as they could not find the courier. They also informed my father that they could only attend to an urgent instruction on Monday. Seriously? Various flights from SA to Azerbaijan depart every day. I am being charged the equivalent of an air ticket home and back for this and they think it is ok to delay my request till Monday? I could be deported from this country due to the negligence and pathetic service of DHL SA. This is not acceptable. This is not how DHL operates. I had better service 15 months ago during shutdown with DHL when I ordered goods from China! We all know that SA is broken and that there is no hope of recovery. DHL: CAN I AT LEAST HAVE MY PASSPORT EXPRESS? THE FACT THAT YOUR SOUTH AFRICAN COUNTER PARTS ARE INEPT AND ***********, IS NOT MY PROBLEM! Don't worry SA, I really do not want to come back to your incompetence. MY AZERBAIJANI NUMBER IS +***56 - Cyril...you and your mates have once again, been successful at just frustrating another hardworking South African to leave AND NEVER COME BACK. Surely but slowly the rest of the world will realise that your SA has no future. All you have were mere little gifts to buy opportunities DHL. WHERE IS MY PASSPORT?
