DHL "Down Hill ****s"

I was sent a gift parcel from DHL from a fried in Wales UK. The parcel arrived and I was told they had valued the parcel at R 50 000-00 and had to pay R 8 000-00 import duties. When I queried this I was told I had to send invoices to prove value. As I was not the one who purchased the goods I had no invoices. Took DHL 8 days to respond to my message. Now been informed by DHL I took to long to respond and the parcel has now been sent to SARS impound for them to do with what they see fit....... Gifts and DHL cost to send to SA now all money down the drain and DHL couldn't give a flying #$%^#. Lets not forget DHL slogan "We're here when you need us most" What a load of *******. Typical corporate that does not care about individual service..........

I have received a call from DHL this morning who have promised to investigate and get back to me later today........good start

I was contacted by Sade Eiman who has gone out off her way to help. I did receive my package yesterday after much effort. DHL did manage to sort out the errors from their side. Just a pity you have to use a forum like this to get anyone at DHL to deal with you.
