DHL doesn't care about their customers

DOES DHL CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS, I DON'T THINK SO !!! On the 28th of November 2018 some documents were send from The Netherlands to me in South Africa. The original tracing code was CY ********** 43DE. Only in the beginning of January 2019 the documents arrived in South Africa, tracking code was changed into EK ********** 65DE. When nothing happened I contacted DHL South Africa and was told that a parcel once arrived in SA, it would be handeled by SA Post (if I had knew this in advance, I would have NEVER used DHL, because one can't trust SA Post). I was advised to contact SA customer service which I did on the 3th, the 10th, the 23th and finally the 29th of January and received NO ANSWER at all. Because it remains the responsability of DHL, I contacted DHL SA again and got thia answer: Dear Jan I am afraid I do not have answers as I have been trying to get hold of the post office with no success for the past two days. There is no response from emails and I di not have their escalation point as that would help. Nosicelo Manentsa Customer Care Executive DHL ExpreSS I think this totally unacceptable, DHL has to take action and make sure that my documents will be delivered. Two months has already past !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good day Joanne’s, Thank you for contacting DHL Express. Please note that these shipment do not transit with DHL Express but a more affordable service by Economy Service - Global mail . DHL assist’s by  transiting these shipments into their destination countries through our International Express Network , but upon arrival they are handed over to the subcontractor for delivery – In your case this  is the Post office . The service chosen by your  supplier was Economy , at paid for that Service – Had the supplier opted for Express Service, the shipment would have transited with DHL throughout and delivery made within Express time.   Unfortunately due to Economy Service selected for these parcels, DHL does not have visibility on the transit of these shipments . You can however follow  up with Global mail on  ***, quote your reference number for  the current status of your shipment , as well as a local tracking number you can use when tracking your shipment with the Post office . South African Post Office on *** /***  I hope the above information has been of great help. Best Regards,
