Dhl doesn't reason with you at all
<p>Tracking no :DHL Ref: ********** 525 is pending Customs clearance, I just called Dhl ( spoke with Ashley ) now advising them that I cannot afford R2880 i only have R2000 and it's my first international shipment plus it's samples and I'm unemployed just starting a small business but I was told they can't do anything they will accumulate costs and there is no solution . Im disappointed that they cant even meet me half way on samples iv been waiting for, for a month now . The company has no service what so ever</p>

As per our conversation, customs duties are taxes are imposed by the Customs and not DHL Express. They are levied on imported goods with the aim of raising revenue and protecting the local market.
