DHL does not want to deliver my package ***

My order arrived from USA on Monday 3rd Feb and cleared the same morning. In the afternoon I received a notification that my package was out for delivery. So even though I knock off at 3pm I waited for my package at my workplace. After 4pm I waited by reception only to receive a notification that "delivery attempt was unsuccessful due to recipient failed to produce ID"'. I asked security if anyone from DHL had come before I arrived at reception but they said no.

Tuesday 4th Feb I received a notification that my package was put on hold so I called customer care, the lady assured me someone would call me. I received a call from a gentleman who said the courier claims that he came to our offices and was told there was no one by the name of Clara and my number was unreachable. How because I never received a missed call and was waiting by the reception. He assured me my package would be delivered early afternoon. Again I waited until 4pm then I called customer care again. She told me my package will be delivered the following morning.

This morning again I received a notification that my package was still on hold. Come on DHL why keep my package on hold for 3 days now? Do you guys want to temper with my package or something?

The last time I ordered a package from the USA it was delivered the same day it arrived in Johannesburg.
