DHL Customs Complaint

I ordered 3 bicycle fasteners from a reputable online Company. Their website quoted me in ZAR and I paid online with my Credit Card. On 23/10/2019 I received an invoice from DHL to pay R332.25 import duty which I paid immediately as I was in a hurry to receive the parcel needed for our next camping trip. Since then I received another notice via email on 29/10/2019 (the day when the parcel was due for delivery) from DHL relating to a " stop notification" which requested personal information which I rep**** to and provided the same day.Two days later I was informed of further costs including release fees and penalty fee because the wrong codes were delared. The purchase price of the goods were R1303.19 plus R332.25 import duty. A further ransom of R2357.47 was now requested before my parcel will be released. When I queried this,.....I received a phone call from a DHL Manager in JHB Aaron *** informing me that he will waive the R1500 penalty but I still need to pay the additional taxes and duty. He refuses to provide me with a written explanation why the extra charges and told me that my parcel will be sent to the warehouse. I guess this is how the *******ion process work.
