DHL communication and follow up

Their communication is very bad, on Wednesday the 3rd of January I made a payment to them to pick up some documents from CRC in Pretoria and I was told they would deliver to me on Friday the 5th.

I called on Friday to confirm the time for them to deliver, only to find that my delivery or pickup was not booked because the person I spoke to was on sick leave, so she then booked the pick up on Friday the 5th and I would receive on Tuesday the 9th.

Tuesday i sent an email to confirm the delivery time, I got a response back saying “you were not booked in the system because there was an email you needed to send back to us” They don’t do a follow up with me until i check up with them the times to deliver on the delivery day.

Later on the day i got an email saying they cannot pickup my documents because the driver went to CRC to pickup them up and they can’t find them. So I’m confused because I got a message from CRC saying my documents are ready.

I’m really not happy with DHL and their communication , they don’t do the follow up if there was something they needed from me, they wait until I contact them to confirm the delivery.
