DHL are terrible couriers do not USE them! Warning DO NOT USE THEM!

I hate DHL..... Useless people at the customs complaince center!

This is my 7th post about the same issue

I have NEVER in my life experienced service like this before.

My parcel is stuck in customs for a month now and dhl is not effective enough to help. Mutiple VOC has been submitted yet it still says ( in process of being completed by customs inspection). I paid DHL to ensure that my parcel clears customs and that it gets delivered to me.

GUGU Mngomezulu promissed to call me at 12pm but these people do not stick to there word.

Spoke to Mapula now and she says GUGU is not available . This is Appualing service .

I WILL NEVER EVER USE DHL AGAIN. I PROMISE YOU!

Dear Slade,

Thank you for contacting DHL Express.

Please note upon Shipment being stopped , Customs has found a few legislations have been contravened.

ü Section 41 states the invoice particulars must be true and correct. This is on the onus on the Importer to ensure that the Shipper provides the correct invoice/documents.

ü Section 38 of the Customs and Excise Act states that the Importer is liable of all goods received into the Country.

Customs CBCU Team has done extensive audit on the Import and found The above Sections of the Customs Act has been contravened. . In as much as we endeavor for positive customer experiences we do not control the customs clearance process. This process is regulated and controlled by government officials in each country , and DHL must abide .

Customs have found that the incorrect country of Origin was used and have imposed penalties and Tax .

As per Invoice that was sent to you – We now await for your Customs penalty , in order for this to be submitted as VOC and for Customs to grant us a release .

Best Regards,
