Delayed and then lost courier

I reported my courier was 'stuck' in Athens when the DHL tracker showed it stuck there for a number of days. I was advised it was 'stuck' in Athens due to a Seafarer strike. <br> 1st question: Why do DHL ferry a parcel when there are flights Athens to Corfu? <br> I was advided no ETD could be provided but that my parcel was marked as priority delivery however when the recipient contacted DHL Athens they were advised the parcel was lost. I contacted DHL South Africa this morning to query this and .....
