Customs useless and DHL does not help and poor service

Bought football merchandise from Sports Direct Uk,the goods arrived 7days later in Cape Town.

After customs inspected my parcel they blocked the parcel for having branded cargo . They want me to get a letter from the brand ambassador to say that these are not **** goods.

OMW iIbought these goods from Sports Direct they a massive global sports apparell store and are all over Europe. I paid 240 pounds for the goods and R2500 in customs fee and now this. DHL is suppose to make my import easier and even after paying them the customs fee they cannot help me . I am really disgusted and feel ****** from my money. Please resolve this and release my parcel. www.sportsdirect.com

I called numerous times and Spoke to GUGU and Lindi Tshabalala on this number +2 **********

Dear Slade,

Thank you for contacting DHL Express.

One can appreciate the undue frustration caused to you concerning this matter . I understand that Customs , a division of SARS has audited your shipment and after an intensive audit have found the goods are counterfeit .

We will investigate this matter internally for you to confirm the above . In as much as we endeavour for positive Customer experience's, DHL does control the Customs clearance process. This process is regulated and controlled by government officials in each country .

DHL will do all that we possibly can to assist you as best as we can - but ultimately the final decision does rest with SARS / Customs.

I will be in contact with you tomorrow to discuss the matter further .

Best Regards,

Ms Buhle Sekoboane
