BAD Service
<p>I have a package coming in from the UK. I was contacted by DHL on Wednesday 20 July to inform me of a VAT payment, which I made that same day.</p> <p>According to the DHL tracking system it landed in SA on Thursday 21 July and the status showed as awaiting payment confirmation from customer. On Friday I called and was told that the payment was received and the package is in customs clearing, which usually takes 24 hours.</p> <p>Since then the status still says "Clearance event" with the same description of awaiting confirmation of payment.</p> <p>I tried calling their customer service number a couple of times today Monday 25 Jul, but every time the phone is picked up on the other side and then just hung up again after a moment.</p>

I have had two calls from DHL to inform me of the updated status of my shipment.
It has now cleared customs and has been sent on the final leg of it's journey. They will endeavour to still deliver it today, which falls within the original timeframe given when the package was shipped.
