Avoid using DHL to send packages between SA and Botswana

Avoid using DHL to send packages between SA and Botswana, that's my recommendation now. I don't think DHL has the wherewithal to do this efficiently. The last thing I wanted to do this morning is get back onto Hello Peter and vent my frustration. I had posted before that we are having problems sending car keys to Botswana using DHL. They took the post seriously and seem to assist us. Out of courtesy. They also indicated they cant say what happens on the Botswana. Right now the package is on hold and we cannot talk to anybody there. We have a contact number and they are not responding. In the meantime we had our car ****** here in SA, we cant get our keys to the insurer and they wont pay out without the keys. I put my trust in DHL because of their ubiquitous brand, but i cannot say my needs have been met. We are clearly frustrated that we cannot replace our car and i thought DHL was a trusted go to for this task. At one point in this process we did locate the keys and DHL did offer to send it back to us because of the clearing process. I thought okay, the worse is over, but alas, here we are again, waiting to get an update on where the keys are. Eish, once bitten twice shy, but i naively thought it cant get worse. if only DHL will call us to keep us updated. I have lost trust in the last contact person.
