Appalling DHL surcharges

I add my review here because I am with all the people who are appalled by the ********* behaviour of DHL. In my last DHL shipment I ended up paying 50 euro custom fee and 51 euro DHL surcharges. What a hell of surcharges (AWB ********** 401)?! It looks that DHL is really getting out of control.

I have been using DHL for couple of years and first I was appalled by the surcharges they app**** as "Advanced payment" that they clear my items in advance (minimum of 14.50 EUR) to make my shipment faster. Before the "advance payment" got introduced it was the same delivery time therefore there was no advantage with this "service". I contacted DHL that I would like to opt out. They said I could not. If I would like to opt out I must use ordinary post delivery. Moreover in my shipping they also added "Multiline entry" charges (28 euro + VAT ) . I have no idea why they did that. The explanation of the charge on DHL website made me certain that they totally unjustifiably added on the top of the Shipment charges. In my shipment were only dietary supplement from USA and nothing like " multiple commodities, origins or invoices." So guys out there... DHL really sucks!!!! My next order will really be with regular posts even thought it takes 2 weeks that way.
