Poor unprofessional service DHK
This is my honest experience DHK who was hired to pack and deliver our household goods from South Africa to Malta, ensuring they arrived in pristine condition. However, he misled us about the storage of our items, the state of our newly refurbished furniture, and the quality of the packing. He also demanded additional money to cover his unpaid bills at a storage he had put our goods into. Our goods finally arrived after 15 months, in substandard international packaging and transportation quality. It was evident he used poor or second-hand materials and completed the job hastily, despite having ample time. Should you want peace of mind during one of life's most stressful and challenging experiences check your reviews prior to signing up with such contractors.

29 Jul 2024, 13:20During January 2023 we quoted Client to export wrap and pack 28 cubic metresof household furniture and effects and place in storage. We did NOT arrange any shipping. Client arranged her own shipping to Malta as well as appointing her own clearing agents in Malta. We provided all the necessary information in order for client to arrange her own shipping as costs were an issue. Clients shipment was in storage for 13 Months until client requested that we load her shipment into a container. In the interim we advised client that her shipment could not fit into a 6M container as it was substantially more than the original 28 cubic metres we had quoted for. Client booked a 12m container and we loaded the container on behalf of client. The additional charges we raised were in respect of export wrapping the additional volume as well as cost of loading the container. The charges we eventually raised were substantially less than market related, in effort to assist client. We do make use of recycled cartons but they are cartons which have been used once only for shipping of garments from the East and are extremely sturdy. The writer was present during the loading of the container and personally checked the quality of the packaging as the consignment had been in storage for a long period of time. As there has been no claim lodged it would appear that everything arrived in good condition. Whilst we did not arrange the shipping we did arrange all the necessary customs documentation required by clients shipping agents (at no charge). We also responded to over 120 whattsapp messages and emails (no charge). We provided d client with 6 Months free storage. We also had to provide access to the storage facility in order for client to arrange to add and remove items from her storage on multiple ocassions (no charge).
