Breaks my window motor, and screams over the phone
We had a smash and grab, and we phoned DGC Glass to come and replace our window, all was fine except the window did not move up and down like it use to , more sluggish.
few days later the window just fell out again, we phoned DGC Glass again and the repair man came (a different one this time ) and he said the cause was of a small safety clip that was left on the window ( the clip is there to protect the window when transporting it) now because of the clip that was never removed the the window motor was being over worked and gave in.
After phoning Jason from DGC Glass he said he cant help, and it was not his or the companies responsibility but regarding the Consumer Protection Act, No 68 of 2008 , Point 8) RIGHT TO FAIR VALUE, GOOD QUALITY AND SAFETY, Paragraph h) Right to claim damages for injuries caused by unsafe or defective products. When inadequate instructions or warnings were provided to the end user, pertaining from the use of the product, irrespective of whether the harm resulted from any negligence on the part of the producers, importers, distributors or retailers.

so when do I receive my replacement motor?
