Bad Service

Dez Mini's is a "well-known" Mini Expert in Alberton, or so I thought... Took my son's car to him to have it properly checked and repaired as it was standing for 10+ years in a closed garage. -1981 Mini 1275e- We fetched it on 01/07/2025, and already on our way home we noticed the Mini was not driving properly, never mind the assurance received it was tested and everything is working 100%. As a woman I trusted him, but when I checked the invoice to see exactly what was done, I picked up a human calculation error. I had already paid the invoice in full when the car was collected. Then the excuses came as to why the overpaid balance could not be refunded. At last, a refund in a lower amount was received. More attention was given to badges, rubbers on pedals than on necessary repairs to the motor itself. I had to spend R2500+ somewhere else in the meantime to get the Mini safe enough to drive. We found that "Obvious" items to check was completely overlooked. I am very disappointed in the overall attitude and service we received and would never recommend them or use them ever again in future. To me they are not only dishonest, but the work done was probably a 3 on a scale of 0-10.
