Do not use this company! when I placed my order, I asked about their poor reputation. I was assured that the people who complain are lying, and they have all been serviced. 1. They have zero after sales service 2. They ignore all your calls and messages 3. They took my money, and the job was not complete, yet they promise you to complete the work. Please do not use this company.

Shocking Customer Service / Warranty support. On Wednesday my inverter started giving errors. In consultation with our electrician we switched the inverter off. Our electrician has many years experience and installs commercially. On Thursday the PV motherboard started burning as well as 1 of the trip switches. The electrician came to site. He indicated he has in all his years never seen this before. He removed the inverter as it is under warranty and took it to Deye. They wanted to test it. We do run the Deye app and as such we also have visibility on all the inverter elements and warnings. Deyes service agent made a comment about batteries been connected incorrectly. This makes no sense..there were no battery warnings and the solution ran a few months with no issues. It was the PV motherboard that burnt and not related to the batteries. Today is 5 days later. Deye does not respond to us and ignores our electrician. We are losing money by the day as we need to purchase eskom power and Deye offers no communication, no response or updates and is not honoring any warranty! Maybe one of the preferred solar providers but there customer service is definitely not up to scratch. How do I get a response from Deye?

Deye has zero customer service. As soon as you have paid, they completely turn their back on you. Deye also supplies sub-standard solar equipment which breaks within the 1st 2 years if you are lucky. Avoid Deye at all costs - or you will regret after losing hundreds of thousands of rands. They are a bad business!
