Dew View Educational College
Dew View Educational College (DWEC) approached me to participate in the stock exchange with their Investa Shares Software.
For this service, you need to pay R300 per month for 6 months. They convinced me that all transactions through their Investa Shares Software will take place on the JSE and that they will put in an R5000 upfront payment for you to trade with. After getting your interest, they catch you. In addition to the R300 per month, you need to pay for the software. The software with a cost of R30000 must be paid over a 60 months period. They catch you further to say that the software cost will be refunded if you do not get the guaranteed 40% growth and that you can pay of the software with the profit you make with the software. The salesperson, representing DWEC, confirmed my risk calculation that after six months the total amount out of my pocket will be R4800.00. I felt that it's worth the risk based on what was confirmed.
Within 30 days, DWEC took R15000 out of my account and is giving me over for legal action to obtain the outstanding cost. I liaised with people who trade directly on the JSE. I started to investigate. After reading the fine print, I realised that the Investa Shares Software is only a simulation software and that you can not trade directly on the JSE. I have not received the R5000.
According to people who trade, it takes many years to learn the art of trading, it is almost impossible to earn a 40% growth and similar online programmes are for free giving the same function is the Investa Shares Software.
DWEC is questionable and their intent seems misleading. They even told me that I can use the profits every month to cover the monthly payments. Further investigation and liaising with other people who also believed their lies bring forth the information that these people trade in various names, i.e. • Dew View Educational College • Indico Educational College • Quantico College • NZTEK Educational College The information provided during the sale pitch was based on untrue and distorted information. Stay away from them!
