INCORRECT AMOUNTS ON CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING

I did an online reservation. I was looking for a family room(4 sleeper) my reservation was made for the 25th and i have written proof that the cost was R1800.When i got to the hotel i was told that R1800 only covers 2 ppl and i needed to pay an additional R1000. My family and i were humiliated even at breakfast due to this matter. I was treating like i was trying to get the cheap way out yet it was never communicated to me that i needed the pay R1000 for the other 2 people. On my email of confirmation from the hotel Phumzile the manager was cc'd and it clearly states 2 couples arriving on the 25th and has the price of R1800. My xmas was ruined, and the staff kept making me feel that i did the incorrect bookibg yet the proof is on the email and the hotel is at fault. U cannot expect me to pay R1000 additional which i have not budgetted for and i had travelled 3 hrs to get to margate there was no way i was going back home. They allowed to stay for the R1800 but belittled me.
