A business to avoid

On 10.11.2015 I took a bolster cover to a shop in Linden that advertises re-upholstery. I wanted a bolster to be made. I asked the shop assistant if the bolster could be made by 14.12. The shop assistant said yes. The work was to be done by Desiree Design Furniture. On the same day I talked to Desiree on the phone. She told me that they could deliver the bolster on the next day to my home. On 11.11 she sent me her banking details and the bill for R1250 per phone. On 12.11 I transferred the full amount. Then the story changed dramatically. On 14.11 Desiree said that they had ordered the bolster and would let me know on 16.11 what the situation was. On 18.11 she said that they had not received any reply from their suppliers. On 19.11 she said the bolster was being specially made. On 19.12 she said I could collect the bolster from the Linden branch. I was out of town at that point. I went to the branch on 11.1.2016, but the bolster was not there.
