Design Syndicate/ Crime Syndicate

To whom it may concern,

I work in the renovations industry and this is my second experience with Design Syndicate. While I cannot fault the quality of their product, I feel I must advise anyone reading this against ever using this company.

In the two occasions I have used Design Syndicate they have measured the wall spaces incorrectly and thus have provided insufficient quantities of one wallpaper and far too much of another wallpaper. If this had happened only once I would chalk it up to human error, but I feel it may be more nefarious than that.

Once informed of their mistake, Design Syndicate on both occasions informed me that to refund the excess wallapaper, they would charge a 10% handling fee. I want to remind you that this was for their mistake. They would not simply exchange the excess wallpaper for the wallpaper we were short of. Again, this was down to their mistake.

It would appear to me that their company policy boils down to thievery. Of course, these mistakes lead to delays in completion of a project, unexpected and unnecessary costs, and infuriation. As such, I hope you will find an alternative company to look after your needs.
