Disillusioned Disappointed and Damaged by Dermalogica
When I was a young adult, I aspired to use Dermalogica as a skincare routine. My friends that were better off than I was used it, and it was something that I really wanted to 'achieve'. It was a brand I used with such pride. Recently, I bought what I call an expensive serum from them. It was store recommended, and I didn't mind saving up for two months so that I could get it. I used it, and it tingled a bit as was warned, and I used it only 3 times, stretched over a week. My skin started bleeding and created sores. I contacted Dermalogica - and they said all they could do was either sent me for another skin mapping and see if they could 'calm' my skin, a trip which would take about two hours. End of story. I wrote back and said that I would do to a doctor, and was going to leave it at that. I just can't leave it alone. After what must by now be thousands and thousands of Rands in product purchases over the years, they cannot offer to take back the serum and replace it with something that doesn't hurt me? I am disappointed in their brand commitment in terms of their resellers, and, more specifically, my well-being. I invested in a premium brand, and they won't invest in me. The fact that your recommended product actually physically damaged me, has had a fundamental impact on the way I perceive the integrity of your brand(s). I am one person, I won't be missed. But my voice will be heard on this matter in every single social opportunity - online and in person. That's MY brand commitment. And I keep my promises.

I don't think Dermalogica requires confirmation of purchase records when provided with a product. The product's possession, in itself, is proof that the product was purchased from Dermalogica.
I'll gift it to someone.
No reply necessary.
