Water *******

Moved into 14 doddington way platterkloof Glen 1/3 /20/15 Water acc always little high.in 2018 got account for 220000??? Went to see them and was told must have water leak .went and tested whole house by specialist ,nothing .Had electricity cut off 3 times asked please send someone there must be a problem with meter .You have to pay 1850 to test meter ,said as pensioner where do i find that kind of spare cash .Fridges defrosted ,deep freeze 3 times spoilt all food .Then bought new meter and put it in line with there’s At 76 years old not so easy .Then requested they come and check .Dinally guy turned up with his golf gti stood and looked at meter and left Nothing happened I then had to borrow 15000 as they said this was minimum they would accept .Finally in November 2018 some good sumaratin stool tap of the end .Phoned as water had flooded Neivourbours drive .They came two hours later and could not find valve to switch off water Plumber guy arrived walked up and switched tap of behind meter The the replaced meter as he said it was broken Meter replaced and said the would monitor account and let me know Then as I told them meter faulty they said they would pass credit .Got letter saying they would give me credit do 77000 .I worked it out was still a bit short .Then got new account only passed credit for 45000 .complained and they took no notice .Then in March 2021 got account for 26000 here we go again .went to see them in town with my accounts They said there was a spike must have had a leak.I said that is six swimming pools full where could this water go.Refused to listen and demanded I must pay I started trying to sort out but they took no notice Been paying 4000 a month trying to keep them from cutting electricity off .Got letter in post saying if I did not pay they would force me to have prepaid meter and set my water to a dribble Had lady with a cane come to check meter had to help her There was leaves and ******* in the box I had built She remarked meter could not have been read for months .I asked her to tell them but nothing ,now sitting with problem they want 16000 or else I said surly who ever does accounts can see my usage was Fromm 96 to 140 per month and should have realised this was a problem. No go .I am know so desparet what do I do now Water account on my daughters name M N Kunze acc no***4 doddington way platterkloof Glen .Even sent email to Ambutsman man and to info at parlement no reply Sent long letter the capetown municipality’s office no reply Basically they are telling me to go to hell and sort it out ??? How many people have had same problem 3 houses from mine owners wife said husband furiously upset got account for 9000 Why are they targeting the middle income ??
