Department of Water affairs: Tzaneen dam

more than 8 years ago, the Department of Water affairs removed the top 5m of the Tzaneen dam wall with the express purpose of raising the wall by a further 5 meters to increase capacity. Now 8 years later , the wall is still not raised and the entire community including all the farmers that depend on this dam, have suffered. Communicated with their CEO some 3 years back and he first advised that Parlimant had not approved the funds. A year on and he stated that the job of re-building the raised wall was imminent. So much for his promises.
